Add Dave to your Home Screen

Tap Share below, then Add to Home Screen and Add.

Then open Dave from your Home Screen. It links to your laptop automatically.

Then open Dave from your Home Screen and type the code shown in Dave on your laptop (Settings → Phone app → Set up a phone).

Already have Dave on your Home Screen? Open it, tap the status at the top, and type under Relink.

Recording while you use other apps

iPhone turns off the microphone for web apps like this one when you switch apps or lock the screen. For those meetings:

Record in Apple's Voice Memos app (it keeps recording in the background and on the lock screen).
Afterwards, in Voice Memos tap the recording, then ••• → Share → Save to Files.
Here, tap Import a recording and choose it. Dave transcribes and summarizes it like any meeting.
